  1. The connective tissue stains are more convincing than the H&E but I would confirm with genetics.

    1. I agree it looks like excess blue collagen to my inexperienced eye. Do you have any Masson sections of normal right ventricle in c. 31 year old? Thanks for the case.

  2. I think the macro shows somewhat ‘blobby’ areas of fat arranged around the transverse sections. This, and the patchy fibrosis (with focal lymphoid cells) suggests ARVC is top of my list. I suspect the FH is potentially hiding other cases, particularly if no histology performed. I would advise genetics focused on ARVC and family to go to local inherited cardiac disease clinic review.
