  2. Too much hypertrophy for steroid induced disease as far as i am aware

    Fibre disarray present with a connective tissue core suggestive of HOCM- would need to confirm extent of this change ie are min criteria reached.

    could this be a combined primary genetic CMO with a contribution of steroid induced disease.

    could do with genetics for HOCM and family screening.

      The fibre disarray was fairly widespread, as was the scarring.
      I’m sure the lifestyle factors have not helped, but I think I’m happy with the diagnosis of HCM. Family have been referred for screening.
