  1. Fascinating! I guess the clue with the “dissection” was the lack of blood? Not seen this myself but there are lots of fun artefacts with embalming.

  2. We get only a handful of repatriations each year, and have not come across this as yet. I presume there was no inflammatory disease in the aortic sections?

  3. Fascinating! Thanks for sharing this with us. Does that mean the embalming needle went into the wrong tissue plane? I guess the embalming process is done without imaging so I have sympathy for the embalmer.
